Espiada na casa nova em Ottawa

It was about time I start sharing a few photos of our new home. Again, it’s new to us, but the house is actually 15 years old and haven’t seen that many updates since then. You’ll find here a pure 80’s style, with a lot of brass finishes, cream walls, green carpets, dark tiles (and some funky ones too), but also a lot of natural light, thanks to the great number of windows (I love natural light) and a open concept main floor, which is more a contemporary feature (and we love it too). The great thing is that the house seems to be in great condition and in time (long time), it’s going to become a version of a dream house for us.
Old fashioned switches…

Big plans for this fireplace in our dining room…

Natural oak all over…

This one is going soon…

Something tells me that I’m going to miss these tiles someday…

Full of gold brass fixtures…

What do you think? Does it have potential? 🙂

Oi queridos! Eu tenho certeza que vcs vão fazer as reformas adequadas na casa e ela ficará com a CARA de vcs. Acho a casa linda e confortável. Com bom gosto acredito que além de mais bonita, ficará charmosa e mais acolhedora. Desejo que sejam felizes, pois tenha certeza que Nossa Senhora mora com vcs. bjao Bia

We also bought an older house to renovate. It's been a long way but we're almost done. You'll get there in time too.

Cute washroom light fixture you have LOL
