Life just got busier…
I’m not sure I mentioned properly, but after a long period of uncertainties, doubts, ideas, pros and cons, I finally applied for a few jobs and for some stars alignment, I was hired fairly quickly. This happened just in between the sale of our house and purchase of our current one and all the moving fun that follows. Don’t really have to say that it was a lot of changes and stress, all in the same month (oh, unforgettable October!). For Alice, that meant the start of her school days. Espiada na casa nova em Ottawa
It was about time I start sharing a few photos of our new home. Again, it’s new to us, but the house is actually 15 years old and haven’t seen that many updates since then. You’ll find here a pure 80’s style, with a lot of brass finishes, cream walls, green carpets, dark tiles (and some funky ones too), but also a lot of natural light, thanks to the great number of windows (I love natural light) and a open concept main floor, which is more a contemporary feature (and we love it too). Nada como ter amigos e família por perto para ter uma desculpa para visitar o centro de Ottawa novamente. Nós não vamos ao centro tão frequentemente, mas amamos a área do ByWard Market, a atmosfera e as pessoas e a história por trás dessa linda área de Ottawa. Gatineau Park in the fall
Eita que saiu do forno, queimado até! Mais uma vez, aproveitamos a presença dos meus pais e os amigos nos visitando e fomos espiar como está o Gatineau Park, em pleno outono. Lá, cada estação é uma diferença enorme e espero conseguir fotografar o parque no inverno também, coisa que nunca fizemos.
