Baby Diana's Little Room
I started projecting the little room into my head as soon as we discovered the pregnancy and of course, before we knew who would come, boy or girl. But from the beginning I had neutral colors in mind, such as green water and tangerine. We ended up painting the walls, which still had the original color of when we bought the house, light green and white.
The looks behind the crib was created with adhesive triangles that I even made with Contact© paper, after having searched online, which made us save a little $as well. I opted for the apparent highlight to be white as opposed to the more popular idea which is to use a stronger color The ornament of clouds, sun, pom-pom and the art of the paintings behind the drawer were also made by me.
I love to give a personalized touch to the rooms, with handmade things and different from most of the ideas I see on the internet.

With only a few weeks to go, we finally finish the nursery for baby #2. First time around we didn't finish that much earlier either, but this time it took a little longer that I had in mind. The baby wouldn't notice anyways, it was for my own piece of mind, of course. You can see Alice's nursery here.
We began the nursery project not knowing who was coming, so I set my mind in two sort of gender neutral colors, mint and tangerine. We painted the walls in a pale green and white.
Almost all the items on the nursery are second hand from Alice's old nursery and our own bedroom, so I didn't have to buy a lot for this project. My idea was also to keep it simple. No fru-frus, nothing that I could get tired of or only work for tiny baby phase (which we all know, it goes by so fast).
