Creative activities for kids during the quarantine
I still can’t really believe that we are going through this difficult world crisis, the Coronavirus, or the Covid-19, which to this day has already infected about 300,000 people around the world. Here in Germany, as in several other countries, including Canada, schools are closed and children are at home. And not only that, we are ina voluntary quarantine, but in a few days the “lockdown” can be confirmed officially, basically restricting not necessary errands in order to contain the spread of the virus. Well, having the kids at home 24 hours a day is pretty challenging, you totally know that at this point! Here we are trying to entertain…

My strategies for leaving the house with 3 children
Today I come here to write about my humble and unpretentious strategies on how NOT to explode with stress and anxiety when it comes time to leave the house with your kids children. It could be a simple thing, such as going to the doctor, or for example, a walk all day or even travel for more days, whatever the reason. A dear friend who recently became a mother of three, told me about how hard it is to go out with children, when the number of kids goes above 1. Because yes, going out with 1 already takes work, but after having more than 1, the task multiplies and…

Arthur's Christening
As you should have seen on Instagram and Facebook, we spent just over 2 weeks in Brazil in January and took advantage of the presence of the family to perform the baptism in our youngest, Arthur. His dear godparents are the same as Alice's, that is, Aunt Adri and Uncle Renan. This time, we organized a simple, individual ceremony in the church of the neighborhood where my parents live and it was the best of experiences so far. Super quiet, with the church very quiet, during a late afternoon mass. Look at Diana's christening by clicking on her name. Of course, if it were possible to choose, maybe baptizing a…

Diana | 3 years old
Diana 3 years old Behold, our second princess completed three years this past Christmas. Even after three years, I still haven't gotten used to the fact that she chose the 25th to come into the world. This time is already full of things and since she arrived, we've added her birthday celebration too, of course. That year, we chose to have a little party, super intimate, the next day, not to miss the date in "white". Diana every day proves to us that she is a big girl already, away from the baby stage. We understand 100% of the things she talks about, both in English and Portuguese, and she…

Alice – 6 years old
Visiting the Colosseum in Rome Our firstborn completed 6 years at the end of September and as we went to travel well on her day, ended up not leaving the post here before, but of course, could not help talking about this very special moment for her and our whole family. Because I count each year as a great milestone in childhood, given how much each child develops from one year to the next at that age. Alice remains a super energetic, curious and humorous girl. She also has moments when she is angry and stubborn, but which child is not at that age right. We love her conversations about…

Baby #3 on the way…
Natural smiles or not so much, but all happy for sure! For those who follow the #instagram of the blog, saw that the great novelty of the year is that the family is increasing again, comes around another canadian little boy or girl to bring many joys to our family. And I start by saying that it was no surprise, we had been discussing the idea for months, but it was a certain scare at first, because the baby came right away, without having to wait too long. Good and blessed scare, of course. We're halfway through the pregnancy, 20 weeks, about the beginning of the fifth month. Baby is…
