Universal Orlando | Islands of Adventure, California

The adventure begins meeeesmo!

On our other two days at Universal, we booked for the Orlando Islands of Adventure, which promises hours of fun. I think the combination of attractions is phenomenal, pleasing a little of all tastes. We used the base ticket, without access to the two parks and without the fast queues, so the use of the Universal application was essential to check queue times, location of characters etc.
In doubt you can check the attractions that they can go by the height …
Here at home, we’re superhero fans and so the Marvel Super Hero Island area was great for meeting some characters in person. I’ll confess that I thought the characters could be more worked out, compared to the ones we met at Disney California (where marvel characters are right in the Disney park, since Marvel is Disney). I thought they could be more convincing, but overall, the girls (and we) like the atmosphere. The area’s two major attractions are The Incredible Hulk Coaster and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man (Alice can go in this simulator).

The Incredible Hulk Coaster – I don’t face it! Hehe

Super colorful posters in the Marvel area and getting to know the Cyclops (from X-Men)
Alice all happy at The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man (Diana stayed out there with Grandma)

In the other corners of the park, the Seuss Landing area has to be the most colorful area of all the parks we visit in Orlando. The attraction of Cat in The Hat, Car-Seuss-Sel, The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride (little train) and the If I Ran the Zoo playground are a must in my opinion. We also love the circus tent with food court inside that calls Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous, where you see the little train passing by, find stake in Cat in the Hat (at some times, make your meal in the tranquility of the air conditioning and still fill the eyes with the colored from inside.

Beautiful and super colorful views on the train ride (The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride)

Good option for lunch – pizza delight!!

The Jurassic Park area is super interesting too, especially by Camp Jurassic, which is a super wide playground for galerinha to burn an energy. Nearby is the Pteranodon Flyers, which is a pair of hanging car seates for the little ones and their parents to have a view of the park and “fly” like a dinosaur. The central building of the area (Jurassic Park Discovery Center) is also interesting, being a replica of the first film, with pits, interactive things, air conditioning and a little less noise and crowds, a great spot for a snooze (children’s… hehe).

Our encounter with the living dinosaur… Hehehe

Finally, of course, the magical area of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the castle/school of Hogwards, the small town of Hogsmead and the shops etc. We had already gone in the simulator inside Hogwards (Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey) and it’s always very cool and Diego also faces the two roller coasters of the Dragon Challenge, but this time the girls loved being able to enjoy the area also with the mini roller coaster Flight of the Hippogriff.

Of course, the park still offers several other things, but these were our favorites. Here are some parts of our visit there in the videos of the series on You Tube:

Kisses and even the next!
