Easter Sunday – Indianapolis

Following, but not finishing:

Day III – Indianapolis

Easter Day we were in Indianapolis. There wasn’t much chocolate for us this year, in fact, the only chocolate of the day was a mousse that we tasted at the Hard Rock Cafe there. But you know we don’t miss candy, you didn’t see it. For a change we walk muiiitcho. Well, the city was the one with the highest number of attractions of all 3 and follow some of the photos we took during the day.

Upon arrival, we visited the Indianapolis Museum of Art (only for out hehe)
And it’s not that we found the Easter Bunny!
Love is in the air…
I=39.5?
Gothic style church in Crown Hill cemetery (yes, we visited to the cemetery)
City center in the background
Favorite tour of the gremista there… 🙂
Indianapolis Circuit
Circuit museum
Some old, some older…
Flying…
Car of Canadian Jacques Villeneuve at Indy
F1 car – Michael Schumacher – 1992
Those were my favorites. Hehe
Indianapolis Oval Circuit
Finish line still retains the original floor of the circuit, known as “the brickyard”
Crowd to watch the semifinals of March Madness, college basketball games
Very charming the canal, similar to the one here in Ottawa
Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art
Beautiful!
War Memorial, New
Scottish Rite Cathedral – Gothic style. They say the interior is pretty good too. I couldn’t tell because it was closed.
Center
Monument circle – we climbed up there to see the city from above
300 steps or elevator for 4 people squeezed = elevator
There at the top = 48ºC (I do not know if it was that, but it was muiiiitcho hot)
One more picture from the top before leaving the sauna

Convention Center, New

Children’s Museum – Diego wanted to enter, but it was already closed… 🙁

That was our Easter day, needless to say, we got back to Cincinnati only on the cover of the harmonica. In the next post, finally, I end with the 4th and the epic returns home.

Until. Kisses.
