Lunenburg | Nova Scotia
One of the most photographed spots in Lunemburg. While we were visiting Halifax (see post here) in Nova Scotia, we took half a day to visit the village of Lunenburg, about 1h15min by car. Although the small town (just over 2,000 inhabitants) is super small, we thought it was worth visiting it, telling all the charm, the colorful and the visuals. There are not many things to do there, so sights and such, so the ideal is to enjoy the streets, the visuals and the local cuisine. Halloween 2016
Jack-o-Lantern 2016 This year, October came arriving quietly, soft, but with the usual beautiful color. Only suddenly, the cold came to stay, gave even snow (which has already melted) and finally came one of the most anticipated days of the year for children, Halloween (see 2015 here). Citadel Hill, New Our last stop in the Atlantic provinces of Canada, or rather The Maritimes, was Halifax and before leaving home I knew it would be the biggest city and with more things to see, but we were surprised by the inviting and pleasant atmosphere of the capital of province of Nova Scotia. Snow in October | Autumn in Ottawa
Yesterday, kind of unexpectedly, because as far as I know, the weather forecast only said flurries, but it ended up snowing a lot considering that we are still in October. The result was about 5cm of snow and a winter setting in the middle of Canadian autumn. Rarely snows in October in Ottawa and we hope it is not a sign of a longer or snowy winter (in fact, there are rumors that it will be…). We had heard and read several super cool things about the province of Prince Edward Island and I confess that perhaps it would have been interesting to have explored more of the four corners of the island, but we actually had 2 and a half days and tried to do the best we could, considering our possibilities.
