Paris – France | Part 2
Well, third day in the French capital was busy. As soon as we managed to get out of the hotel, yes, because baby Alice likes to sleep late and okay, we don’t complain, we went to the Louvre Museum. After a quick breakfast, we enter this which is one of the most famous museums in the world. After the Louvre, we went to the Centre Pompidou, which houses a public library, the Museum of Modern Art (the largest in Europe) and the IRCAM (centre of music and acoustic research). Then time to visit churches. First the Sainte-Chapelle and then the Notre-Dame de Paris. Fantastic! And finally, we finished the day…

Paris – France | Part 1
This was my first time visiting the old continent, and I was really excited. Diego had been there in 2002, but obviously wanted to go back as well. We just wen for 10 days, and included Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels. We chose these cities because they’re close enough to each other that you can easily go by train – and with a 7 month old, we wanted places that didn’t require a long trip. We arrived in Paris around noon after sleeping just a couple of hours during our flight. According to our plans, we went to the RER station, which is the long-distance train from the Metropolitan Area of…

Tulips – Part II
The final week following the one that we went to the Tulip Festival in Dowslake, we decided to take a quick jump to Jacques Cartier Park, in Gatineau even, just to see some more tulips. Only the large flower bed that you see in the photos this year and very few people (not to say anyone …). That's it, guys, you don't appreciate the little flowers anymore? Frankly, you saw… =) little joke… Several pictures of our favorite little flower!

Tulips – Part I
* Thanks for the comments on Alice in the previous post!! Another month of May there and it's time to see tulips around here. Almost rhymed…. Hehehe Tulip Festival this year started on the 4th and runs until the 20th here in Ottawa/Gatineau. Right on the first weekend, we decided to check out the beautiful tulips in Dowslake Park, which is usually the most refined place of the event. The day was nice suuuuper, but the tulips have had better years. I don't know if it was the little heat that gave in March or the cold that came back in April, just know that I saw some flower beds…

Baby Alice's Little Room
*People from heaven! Thanks for the comments… All of them stored here in memory and in the heart. you guys are show! ** Really I was blessed with pregnancy and childbirth without complications. I don't think I'd choose anything different anyway. The delivery without anesthesia and fast was not easy, in terms of pain, but I think I would face again, the way it was, if I had to choose. As a form of thanks and also because at some point I think I promised this, I will share what we did in our little Alice's room. The space is not the largest, so I had to think well…
