Tulip Festival 2010
When this time of year comes I marvel at both the impressive colors of the flowers and the landscape and the high temperatures and the longer days, where we enjoy even more and more. It's dawning shortly after 5:00 a.m. and dusk around 8:30 a.m., but you still see light around 9:00 p.m. And on days like the ones you've been doing, full of sun and blue sky, you might even get confused and think you're in a tropical place. However, yesterday, it was too hot, I went to buy some ceiling fans, because my office-house was boiling, 32ºC with feeling 38ºC. Needless to say, the day didn't yield much.…

New York City – finally – part III
Okay, following the photos of the trip, before I forget the details and accumulate many things (we already have photos of the tulip festival here from Ottawa and our visit to the war museum.. o/), there are pictures of our last day in the Big Apple. Early on we went on the NBC Tour and the observeatory there of the photo … We don't have any pictures of the NBC tour, because it wasn't allowed to record anything. High point of the tour for us: visit the studio of Saturday Night Live… mto legal.. At the top of the Rockfeller Center. I loved that view. Here's my tip: If I…

Philadelphia – PE
We decided in advance that on one of the days of the trip we would go to Philadelphia since Diego’s parents still didn’t know him and it’s only 1:30 a.m. from Manhattan, so Thursday was the day. This city is another one of those that you can go more than once and it’s always interesting. Despite having fewer things to see, compared to NY, the city of Philadelphia has a lot of history to tell and worth visiting (only refrusing, the city was the first American capital and was the scene of several important events during history, including independence statement was signed). Anyway… we didn’t get the city pass this…

New York City – Part II
Hello Second day of sightseeing in New York was very intense, too bad the sun was not our companion of the day but our umbrellas. We bought the New York Pass card for 1 day only, which entitles you to make several tours. To make the most of what the weather and the card provided us, we tried to visit as many attractions as possible on Wednesday. First stop was at the American Museum of Natural History. Very interesting… The building is underrenovation sanding outside, so here are some photos of the contents… Gorilla Diego Adri Lioness We think the diameter of this tree is impressive… it's…

In the land of consumption, Spanish and crowd…
New York City – part 1 Week of blogging to flies for good reason, since we were traveling with Diego's parents. They arrived late Saturday in Canada and did the tours with Diego, who went to pick them up in Toronto (since our Eddie was getting hurt…) Two days after their arrival here in Ottawa we have been to New York City and Philadelphia among other places and we returned yesterday (almost today) very tired, but full of stories to tell. The little more than 630 photos (just my camera), also has various stories to tell, but then we go in parts, because otherwise there will be an endless post…

Montebello – Quebéc | Travel s& Canada
Ok, I agree that this blog is turning into a fotolog, but all right, so brings a colorful pros “zoio” from everyone. We are planning some posts about the great madness change that is immigrating, wherever it is, soon it is emerging here in New Home. For now, I will post the photos and due comments on our tour to Montebello. And how nice that was saw, I think I would get used to easy, easy with this life of chic people … Hahaha Montebello is a small town in Quebec about 1 hour from Ottawa, towards Montreal. Basically everything revolves around the Fairmont Le Château Montebello, a 5-star resort…
