Boston – Massachusetts | Part III
Oh my God, if the Boston posts have 3 parts, i don’t even want to see the ones from Chicago… but it’s okay… Last day of sightseeing, we booked the morning to visit the places left on our list, which was summed up at the famous Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT. Although they are located in Cambrigde, a nearby city of Boston, they are well accessible to Boston residents, as cities are separated by bridges (such as Ottawa from Gatineau), all part of the Boston metropolitan area. I don’t know why I thought differently, but we were surprised by the infrastructure of these study centers. Super…

Boston and Cape Cod – Illinois | Part II
Continuing… On the second day of the trip, that is, on Sunday, we had scheduled to go to Cape Cod and some outlets. Cape Cod is a region with several beaches bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. There are about 80 km of beach, mostly around a bay. We decided to visit hyannis beach, indicated by our friends Gadi and Suzi, who had already been there. Well, to be in Hyannis is almost to be in Brazil of so many Brazilians that we heard and saw there … We went to a Brazilian grocery store (Gol) and a steakhouse (Brazilian Grill) and had areas in the center that could only…

Boston – Massachusetts | Part I
I’ll finally post the pictures of Boston, not that it’s been as long as we went (2 weekends ago) but the fact is we went that last weekend to Chicago. Yes, another lightning trip and with lots of pictures. We had already scheduled this trip since April, I think, that was when we bought tickets from U2, which played there on Saturday. Well, that’s all, it’s history for another post in the not-too-distant future. See the first post from Chicago here! So, Boston. On the weekend of the holiday (September 7 is labor day in Canada and usa), we went to celebrate Diego’s birthday traveling.. Wow!… The destination chosen half…

Philadelphia and Washington!
Hey, guys! Over easter weekend we went to visit the city of Philadelphia and Washington. It was my birthday present, which was March 29th. Ehhh!! Loved! We woke up at 3:00 a.m. on April 10th, heading to Ottawa Airport. We left the car there at Park and Fly and at 6:00 a.m. we were flying to Detroit where we made a stopover. We arrived at the hotel room in Philadelphia at exactly noon and the saga began. By the way, the hotel was super cool, had a king size bed that was a luxury and a comfort only… Hehe Oh, Dexter stayed at Ivan and Ju’s, along with their kittens,…

New York City – Part 3
Sunday OK, follow what was missing from the race trip to New York. On Sunday we went to the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, World Trade Center, Chinatown and SoHo. As they say that a picture is worth a thousand words, follow the photos of the tour. 🙂 We arrived at the Empire State Building as soon as it opened in the morning, which was a good one, because when we went down the line was already leaving the building (they say that on the worst days she makes a whole turn on the court and is at the door again) View of the observatory on the…
