    Chigago – Part III

    October 14, 2009 /

Hello First Happy Thanksgiving for the here and Happy Day of Our Lady Of Our Aparecida / Children's Day for those there. It's late, but it's worth it. It's just that we've been traveling (ah able?!) last weekend and we've been offline. The reports of this findi will come in a future post telling about our going to Lake George and Saratoga Springs in the state of New York, once again in the States, accompanied by a dear family friend of ours. So wait and trust…   Phew, until at last comes the end of the Chicago saga… Hehehe. Well, for those who haven't been there yet, I think you…

Chicago – Illinois | Part II

    October 6, 2009 /

Dear   The weeks have been flying in this land from leaves to wind. yes, it's really autumn. I even have to take some pictures to show you the beautiful colors of autumn around here. Temperatures have been fluctuating, last week made 1ºC in the early morning and 4ºC in time for me to go out to the stop. Another novelty is that we now have fence on the property (hahaha… almost a latifundium), so we can release the Dex to run done crazy, which is what he likes most to do lol. That's when it's not raining or too humid, since it's been raining constantly around these parts. I've also…

    Chicago – Illinois | Part I

    September 30, 2009 /

Oieeeee!!   Thanks for the comments of the last post, thanks guys!   Well, it’s time for me to start this post from Chigago at once, before it passes a lot of time of the trip and I do not remember the details hehehe. Since April we had already bought tickets for the U2 show. We decided, together with Ju and Ivan, to go to the show in Chicago, since the show in Toronto was in the middle of the week and then we would take the opportunity to get to know another American city. Our flight was out at 6:50 in the morning. what a sleep!! We had already got…

Boston – Massachusetts | Part III

    September 20, 2009 /

Oh my God, if the Boston posts have 3 parts, i don’t even want to see the ones from Chicago… but it’s okay…   Last day of sightseeing, we booked the morning to visit the places left on our list, which was summed up at the famous Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT. Although they are located in Cambrigde, a nearby city of Boston, they are well accessible to Boston residents, as cities are separated by bridges (such as Ottawa from Gatineau), all part of the Boston metropolitan area. I don’t know why I thought differently, but we were surprised by the infrastructure of these study centers. Super…

Boston and Cape Cod – Illinois | Part II

    September 17, 2009 /

Continuing…   On the second day of the trip, that is, on Sunday, we had scheduled to go to Cape Cod and some outlets. Cape Cod is a region with several beaches bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. There are about 80 km of beach, mostly around a bay. We decided to visit hyannis beach, indicated by our friends Gadi and Suzi, who had already been there. Well, to be in Hyannis is almost to be in Brazil of so many Brazilians that we heard and saw there … We went to a Brazilian grocery store (Gol) and a steakhouse (Brazilian Grill) and had areas in the center that could only…

    Boston – Massachusetts | Part I

    September 14, 2009 /

I’ll finally post the pictures of Boston, not that it’s been as long as we went (2 weekends ago) but the fact is we went that last weekend to Chicago. Yes, another lightning trip and with lots of pictures. We had already scheduled this trip since April, I think, that was when we bought tickets from U2, which played there on Saturday. Well, that’s all, it’s history for another post in the not-too-distant future. See the first post from Chicago here! So, Boston. On the weekend of the holiday (September 7 is labor day in Canada and usa), we went to celebrate Diego’s birthday traveling.. Wow!… The destination chosen half…
