10 tips | Trips with babies up to 2 years

For those who follow the blog it should be obvious that we love to travel. We try to escape every time the stars line up and allow us. Both the fact that we have the dogs or have children does not prevent us from traveling around, it only takes different itineraries, less running, much more patience etc. Since we were only two, we always thought about continuing to enjoy things that we always like, differently, it's true, even more so enjoying. Alice is quite a travel partner, but it's a good job traveling with a child, that's a fact. In these almost 2 years of parenthood, we have acquired a…

Miami | Vizcaya & Coral Gables

In one of the few days we stayed in Miami, we decided to walk through Coral Gables, which is a small town of about 12,000 inhabitants, southwest of Miami. It’s all kind of stuck together to tell you the truth. We learned of the beautiful streets covered with green by these centuries-old trees and near there, in Coconut Grove, was also the Villa Vizcaya museum, which was another attraction we wanted to know. Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, Pennsylvania The Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, as it is called today, was the property of about 50 acres of a wealthy businessman in the region. The mansion and gardens were built in Italian…

Miami | The city and the beaches

After the fun but exhausting days of the parks in Orlando, we drove to Miami, about 4 hours away. Our greatest intention was to even give a reduced pace, rest a little (if this is possible having a child of 1 year and a half on the lap) and know the beaches and a few sights that we find more interesting, before flying home. We stayed in a hotel near the marina in North Miami, for reasons of values, since the beachfront resort hotels in South Beach are quite expensive (resort fee, parking etc. in addition to the daily, of course), which was not a big problem, since we were…

First time at Universal Studios | Orlando

Our next stop was universal parks. Although the parking and access are the same, universal’s park is divided into Universal Studios and Universal Island of Adventures. You pass through an area full of bars and shops that resemble downtown Disney and then head to the entrance of one or another park. On this day, we decided to know the part of Universal Studios, which proved to be the emptier park of all that we went on this trip. Apparently a lot of people prefer the other side of the park. Several attractions and you have the option to pay an extra to go in the fast lines. At this time…

    Magic Kingdom | Disney 2013

Get ready for a flurry of photos. I'll let you know! Magic Kingdom, well, is a classic. I always imagined myself visiting and seeing the castle up close and everything. For those who do not know, the park is really full of magic. And why not talk about the crowd that works there and is all over the corner of the park. Starting with the parking lot, as I mentioned, they help car by car. Then, every 5 minutes, pass the tram to take you to the access to the monorail or ferry boat. All in the greatest enthusiasm. The 3 of us took a quick pass at the end…

    Hollywood Studios

We took advantage of that domingão to go to Hollywood Studios, another Disney park, because we thought that during the weekend the popular Magic Kingdom should be fuller and crowd no one deserves. And I believe it was an advantage, because the park was not so full, giving us a chance to enjoy many of the things. Disney Hollywood Studios was called MGM Studios until January 2008, so for those who visited the park before that, don't get confused because it's the same park… Hehe In addition to the attractions described in the photos below, diego was still in The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (Hollywood Tower) and the Roller…
