News direct from the southern hemisphere…
Thank you guys for the beautiful words of support in the previous post!! Next right, we are in the land brasilis. Yes, after many hours and delayed flights and consequently lost. But who followed on Facebook, we even had fun. It's just that it was the following, from Ottawa to Detroit, where it would be our stopover, the flights were leaving late because of the weather, rain with lightning in Ottawa. Then our 1 hour and little space between this flight and the next, then leaving Detroit for Sao Paulo, was impaired, so much so that the airline attendant has already begun to check alternatives, during the endless check-in in…

Toronto on Canada Day
– We continue to paint (and embroider) in the basement. There are still some walls and touches in the painting as well as the baby's room, which just came out of the crate to reality. *Liana – explain your basement questions in the next related post, ok?! – We went to another Cirque du Soleil show. We watched Quidam in Ottawa even on the last day 26. Amazing how they manage to do shows so different from each other. This was with more ground numbers and a lot of clowning. Very cool too! – Toronto: On the Canada Day holiday, we escaped from the capital (and the royal couple) and…

Big Apple – Part II
Second day in the great metropolis was also intense. Cloudy Sunday, with small moments where the sun appeared and several where drizzles gave the air of grace. Contrary to what we did the other times we were on the island, this time we drove to Manhattan. Before we were afraid of the apparent abusive prices of parking lots, but with good research, we ended up discovering reliable and convenient places, which turned out to be a great option both for round and back at the end of all (the two) days. To get an idea, we paid $ 12 on Saturday and $ 22 on Sunday for the whole day…

Big Apple… Part I
I'm sure I commented on the great rush that everything has been this year. Yes yes, although I'm super immediate and in a way like things move quickly, I had to explain why I didn't comment on our latest lightning trip. The kind we do there, back and forth. Because we went to New York City once again, enjoying this holiday of Queen Victoria, which was May 23 (and Carol's birthday, ehhh! Inadmissible I do not comment on this illustrious fact, neh Carol… rsrs). Anyway, we decided that we would go to the states again to do some shopping for baby, but we took the opportunity to take a jump…

Weekend relax – Lake Placid – Part I
* Thank you friends for the happy birthday wishes! I love it saw! This last weekend, still remnants of my birthday, we went to spend a weekend relaxing in a hotel about 3.5 hours from here in Gatineau. The place is called Lake Placid, with about 2,600 inhabitants and is in the state of New York. Along the way, all quiet, but we passed places that looked like deserts, with abandoned houses and many collapsing… seemed straight from a horror movie… Hehe Lake Placid has hosted 2 winter Olympics (1932 and 1980) and is to this day, a destination for many winter sports lovers due to the infrastructure already created…
