    Baby Alice's Little Room

*People from heaven! Thanks for the comments… All of them stored here in memory and in the heart. you guys are show! ** Really I was blessed with pregnancy and childbirth without complications. I don't think I'd choose anything different anyway. The delivery without anesthesia and fast was not easy, in terms of pain, but I think I would face again, the way it was, if I had to choose.   As a form of thanks and also because at some point I think I promised this, I will share what we did in our little Alice's room. The space is not the largest, so I had to think well…

Touristing in Ottawa – Ottawa River

The other day we went to tourist again. I had bought the tickets with 50% off the internet and we finally decided to go. Beautiful and super hot day, we take the boat ride through the Ottawa River lasting 1h30min or so.  Boarding can be done in Ottawa or Gatineau. We took the triple-deck boat at Gatineau even, in Jacques-Cartier Park. During the tour, a recording was explaining historical details and we ended up learning interesting things. For those who have ottawa with an extra time, you can consider adding this tour to the agenda …:). The link to the company you access here. Here are some pictures… Beautiful flowers…

    Touristing in Ottawa – Parliament

Although Ottawa is a relatively small city with attractions that can be visited in a short period of time, I consider it has many things to do around here. I will confess that we have not even been to all the tourist places in the area yet, even after 4 years (by the way, countdown, missing +/- 1 month to complete 4 years in this terrinha). Tonight we went to check out the light show in Parliament. And I'll warn you beforehand, if you're in Ottawa from July 6 to September 6, be sure to check out the show, because it's pretty cool. It is a free event called Mosaika…

    Toronto on Canada Day

    – We continue to paint (and embroider) in the basement. There are still some walls and touches in the painting as well as the baby's room, which just came out of the crate to reality.  *Liana – explain your basement questions in the next related post, ok?! – We went to another Cirque du Soleil show. We watched Quidam in Ottawa even on the last day 26. Amazing how they manage to do shows so different from each other. This was with more ground numbers and a lot of clowning. Very cool too! – Toronto: On the Canada Day holiday, we escaped from the capital (and the royal couple) and…

    Big Apple – Part II

Second day in the great metropolis was also intense. Cloudy Sunday, with small moments where the sun appeared and several where drizzles gave the air of grace. Contrary to what we did the other times we were on the island, this time we drove to Manhattan. Before we were afraid of the apparent abusive prices of parking lots, but with good research, we ended up discovering reliable and convenient places, which turned out to be a great option both for round and back at the end of all (the two) days. To get an idea, we paid $ 12 on Saturday and $ 22 on Sunday for the whole day…
